We are so excited to bring back the Otaku Pass this year! An Otaku Pass is the ONLY way to meet our Japanese voice actors and get their signatures. There is a limited number of Otaku Passes available each day for each guest, which means if you want to meet these incredible actors…buy your Otaku Pass before they sell out!
About the Otaku Pass
An Otaku Pass is an add-on experience at UwU Con, which is your ticket to meeting and getting signatures from our esteemed Japanese voice actors! Each of our guests will require an Otaku Pass.
Please note: An UwU Con badge is required for all attendees and the Otaku Pass is an add-on. You cannot purchase an Otaku Pass on its own and enter the convention.
General Signature Rules
The following signature guidelines will be enforced:
- You may purchase up to 2 Otaku Passes per voice actor (VA), per day
- If you hold 2 Otaku Passes in the same signature session for one VA, you will be permitted to use one and then get back in line for the second
- VAs will not accept blank “Window” Autographs (or window only, Funko Pop Figure must be in original packaging)
- VAs will only sign using the pens they have brought to the table
- Anyone caught removing personalization of signatures will be asked to leave UwU Con
- Anyone caught reselling an item that was just signed by our Japanese Guests, will be asked to leave UwU Con
How does the Otaku Pass work?
Each voice actor will have a limited number of Otaku Passes available each day and is signing for a limited amount of time each day. You must purchase an Otaku Pass for EACH voice actor you wish to meet. ONE Otaku Pass = ONE chance to meet the selected voice actor and get a signature(s). The number of signatures and guidelines are determined by the voice actors. Strict adherence to their wishes will be enforced. The max limit for Otaku Passes per attendee, per voice actor, per day is TWO Otaku Passes.
What items can the Japanese voice actors sign?
Our Japanese guests have each set specific guidelines for their signatures that fulfill their studio contracts and personal comfort levels, but the majority of them will only sign officially licensed merchandise. Please respect that these decisions are final. Our guests usually will NOT sign fan art, cosplay props, body parts, or unofficial items. In case of discrepancy, final determination is subject to approval by the guest’s manager.
