Kymchi is an Arizona native and has been involved in the local cosplay community for over 10 years – her passion for the hobby eventually led her to pursue a degree in technical costume design and construction, and she has worked in a professional capacity both stateside and overseas. In 2018, she began competing in local masquerades and is beyond grateful to have Best in Show at Anime Expo 2023. Her favorite costumes to build are anything with an excess of glitter, ruffles, and rhinestones!

Sapphire Nova has been cosplaying professionally for 9 years, been a featured cosplay guest at over 150 conventions, and been seen on the covers of 15+ comic books and growing. She loves sewing, wig styling, foam and Worbla crafting, and, most importantly, trying out new techniques for creating costumes. Sapphire believes in using techniques that are accessible to everyone and adores sharing her knowledge to encourage new and seasoned cosplayer alike!

After receiving awards in multiple states including Wondercon and San Diego Comic Con she is elated to be Guesting at uwu con! A lover of Disney, lord of the rings, and most fantasy genres in general she cant wait to keep attending conventions to meet new people of become a fan of even more fandoms.

Iota is a local award winning cosplayer, competing in her first masquerade in 2015. Since then, she has embraced a diverse range of skills, including sewing, foamsmithing, photography, and jewelry making. She believes that with a little bit of determination and creativity, anything is achievable.
